Begonia imperialis aka Imperial Begonia

Begonia imperialis, also known as the imperial begonia, is a stunning flowering plant native to southern Mexico and Guatemala. This spreading evergreen perennial boasts 10cm long green leaves that are adorned with silvery splashes along the veins. The upper surface of the leaves is bumpy and covered in very fine hairs. During the winter, this begonia produces sparsely distributed sprays of small, white flowers. Its beauty and exceptional qualities have earned it the prestigious Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit.
