Philodendron xanadu aka Philodendron Winterbourn

Thaumatophyllum xanadu, also known as Philodendron xanadu or Winterbourn, is a perennial plant belonging to the family Araceae and the genus Thaumatophyllum, formerly classified under the Meconostigma subgenus of Philodendron. Native to Brazil, it is widely cultivated as a landscape plant in tropical, subtropical, and warm temperate climates. This clump-forming, upright perennial features glossy, dark green, deeply lobed leaves and occasional red spathes. It may also develop aerial roots. The Xanadu plant is an easy-to-grow, large, compact species with shiny green leathery leaves, each having 15-20 distinct lobes. It typically has a wider spread than height, reaching up to 2-4ft in height and 3-5ft in width under ideal conditions. Unlike many philodendrons, it does not climb or vine, but stays upright. As the plant ages, it becomes even more visually appealing. However, it is important to note that these plants are considered poisonous and should be kept out of reach of pets and children.
