Tolmiea menziesii aka Pick A Back Plant

Tolmiea menziesii, also known as youth on age, pick-a-back-plant, piggyback plant, or thousand mothers, is a species of flowering plant in the Saxifragaceae family. This compact perennial herb is native to the West Coast of North America, ranging from northern California to southern Alaska, and is often cultivated as an ornamental plant due to its unpretentiousness and variegated foliage. In its natural habitat, Tolmiea menziesii grows quickly to form a green carpet on the forest floor. It can also be found in Scotland, parts of Wales, Northern Ireland, and northern and western parts of England as a naturalized plant or garden escapee. The Piggyback Plant is an evergreen perennial herb that grows up to a foot tall and is often found in moist forests, wetlands, and along streams. It produces small tubular purplish-brown flowers in loose racemes during the spring, which attract bees and butterflies.
